Crynkle is built so that we cannot see your content. We believe the best way to protect your data is to never have access to it in the first place.
Your messages, calls, files, and group conversations are end-to-end encrypted on your device before they ever leave it. Our servers only relay encrypted data and have no ability to decrypt it.
To deliver messages we keep the minimum required: account and device enrollment records, public keys used to establish encryption, and encrypted message envelopes queued for delivery. Encrypted content is removed from our servers once it has been delivered.
We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not build advertising profiles. We do not have access to the contents of your communications.
Your conversation history is stored encrypted at rest on your own device and is protected by a key held in your operating system's secure keychain.
